We welcome you to Concord Baptist Church. Our mission is to "bind up, comfort, and heal" the broken hearted. Jesus said,"They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." We thank our LORD for the opportunity to minister the Gospel to you and your entire family.

"And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it." Jeremiah 18: 4

Made...Marred...and Made Again!
Disclaimer: In search of the “ideal Christian family,” one would have to start at the very core of the biblical definition of family. At center stage is man’s relationship with God and his wife. “Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God” (Colossians 3:1). There is equality in Christ. However, our egalitarianism and unity in Christ does not remove gender roles. Thus the responsibility of both husband and wife have been established by God.

The union of husband and wife is sacred. Therefore children born into the family are God’s gift. “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him” (Psalms 127:3). The ideal Christian family is one that is well-grounded in God’s word and whose love for Jesus Christ allows each member to accept his God-given role and responsibilities.

Regretfully, a generation has emerged who does not share the biblical values of its parents and grandparents. Sexual devotion, dedicated marriage, and parental responsibility are no longer held as meaningful personal goals. To a great extent, the culture of America has forsaken the Bible as the authoritative standard of behavior. It is no longer considered to be the unquestionable control of daily living.

As a Gospel-centered and reformed church, we stand on the Bible as the only truth and standard of holy living. Solus Christus, Sola Scriptura, Sola Fide, Sola Gratia, Soli Deo Gloria
